Things have been going well in the Frampton household. Â Last weekend we took a trip down to Whitewater for my Mom’s 80th birthday and also got to visit with the Arnolds and my cousin Laura from “down South”. Â It was lots of fun, and the kids ate up all the attention. Â Nessa is becoming a little showoff, you can tell she likes to be the center of attention. Â Of course, Ronan’s always been that way… 😉
It’s been a wet & rainy summer this year, which has put a crimp in camping, along with the mosquitos. Â Thankfully we don’t have any more camping trips planned until September. Â I really hope we get a dry, cool Fall after all this wet sogginess. Â Strangely enough, our basement has managed to stay mostly dry during this wet season, which is highly unusual. Â I don’t know what’s changed, but I guess we’ll take it! Â Now if it would just stop raining long enough to cut the forest that is our lawn…
My job is going quite well. Â I wish I could put in a few more hours, both because I’m finding it fun and the extra moolah is quite nice. Â Perhaps that will be possible in the Fall once Ronan is off to 4k in the afternoons. Â The only downside is hauling the kids to the drop-in daycare at the Y twice a week. Â It takes me 2 1/2 – 3 hours to get myself and the kiddos up, dropped off and off to the cafe to work. Â Seems like an awful waste of time that could be spent making money, so we’re in the market for a babysitter to come to the house. Â I suspect the job would be ideal for a college student, since we’d be able to work with a changing school schedule and such. Â If anyone can recommend someone for a couple mornings (7:45am – 1pm-ish) a week, please send them my way. 🙂
My little girl has decided she wants absolutely nothing to do with bottles anymore. Â She sure has made it easy in the weaning department. Â It’s hard to believe that my little girl will be 1 year old in a couple weeks. Â This year just flew by!
